1. Overview and Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how DateLens collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and photo generation service. We are committed to processing your photographs transparently, securely, and strictly for your intended photo generation.
2. Information We Collect
When you use DateLens, you may upload a small set of source selfies and select preferred scene styles. We collect these images solely to process your generation request. We also collect basic technical data (such as browser type and IP address) necessary for security, rate limiting, and hosting operations.
3. How We Use and Process Your Photos
DateLens uses these services for the functions below.
- Cloudflare
Website hosting, private photos, accounts and project records.
- Google Gemini API
Photo generation and identity-consistency checks from your reference photos.
- Zhipu BigModel
Photo safety and input-quality checks.
- PayPal
Payment processing when you choose PayPal; DateLens does not receive your PayPal password or full card details.
- Resend
Account verification and password-reset email.
Processing may take place outside your country. Provider retention and training practices follow their linked policies and the service tier in use; DateLens does not promise zero retention or that every provider excludes training. Deleting a project removes the photos DateLens holds and does not establish deletion of provider copies.
4. Storage and Data Retention
Project originals and generated photos remain in private storage until you request deletion. Cleanup is tracked and retried if it fails. Technical AI-call records are retained for up to 90 days. Deleting a DateLens project does not confirm deletion of any provider-held copies.
5. User Controls and Deletion
Request project deletion from your project page or account deletion from Privacy. Photo access is disabled during cleanup. Account deletion removes login credentials and profile details while retaining pseudonymous order and credit records. Download is limited to eligible paid results; free previews are view-only.
6. Security Safeguards
We implement industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256), restricted access controls, and strict perimeter defenses to safeguard your photos against unauthorized access.
7. Adults Only (18+)
DateLens is strictly designed for consenting adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or process photos of minors. Any uploaded image containing a minor will be rejected and deleted.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal enhancements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
